In July 1998, Huayang Chemical was established, located in Baishipo Village, Zhicheng Town, with 81 employees engaged in the production of dicyandiamide products.

In October 2000, Huayang Chemical shut down its dicyandiamide product market, and re-located in Yimachong Village, Lucheng Town, to develop, produce and start business of benzophenone UV absorbers.

From 2001 to 2006, Huayang Chemical implemented GMP management, and exported its benzophenone UV absorber series to European and American markets, with the capacity expanding to 3500 tons/year.

From 2007 to 2008, Huayang Chemical estabished a new factory with an annual output of 4500 tons of ultraviolet absorbent products was built in Longwo Village, with the overall scale capacity expanding to 8000 tons/year.

From 2009 to 2011, “New production process of o-hydroxybenzophenone”, a creation of Huayang Chemical, was valued as a major scientific and technological achievement in Hubei Province, and was also included in the growth-map of high-tech SMEs in Hubei Province to focus on cultivating enterprises. Thanks to its persistent efforts, Huayang Chemical was identified as high-tech enterprise.

From 2012 to 2013, Huayang Chemical’s scientific research project of “Integration and Industrialization of Isooctyl Salicylate Synthesis Process” won the scientific and technological certification, and the scientific research achievements reached the leading level in China, realizing batch production. Huayang Chemical passed ISO9001 certification for the first time.

In 2014, Huayang Chemiacal won the first “Two Rivers” Quality Award (strong leadership; big strategic goals; high customer and market satisfaction; high evaluation; high staff level and excellent operation) of Yidu City.

In 2015, Huayang Chemiacal passed the on-site audit of FDA and set a new benchmark in the industry. In 2019, Huayang Chemical successfully developed BP-12, UV3638, 4-MBC and other products to further expand the industrial chain, and realized that disabled its factory in Yimachong Village.
